Who is eligible for the

GRP in Malta?

The Global Residence Programme (GRP) in Malta is open to non-EU, non-EEA, and non-Swiss nationals who meet specific criteria. Applicants must demonstrate that they do not intend to stay in Malta or any other EU member state for long periods that may result in residency rights through regular physical presence.

Furthermore, individuals who benefit from this programme must have a stable source of income, ensuring they do not require financial assistance or social benefits. The programme excludes persons who have a criminal history, are considered a risk to public policy or security, or have been involved in activities that could damage Malta’s reputation. By focusing on these requirements, the GRP aims to attract individuals who will contribute positively to the Maltese economy and its international standing.
